November: an autumn art lesson from The Little Gallery, by fine artist Jamie Lawrence.

Welcome to The Little Gallery, where children learn about art alongside Jamie and Teddy, the gentle bear from Teddy Town. In Paint with Teddy, November, little artists explore the colors of November: crisp leaves, round pumpkins and Teddy's cozy sweater, all drawn in Jamie's soft storybook style.

Each kit is thoughtfully made for its age, so siblings and classrooms can share the same theme together:

  • Tiny Artists, ages 2 to 3 (18 pages): big, simple shapes with thick outlines, dot-sticker and dot-painting pages, finger-painting pages, color matching, a Thankful leaf garland and a short helper note for grown-ups.
  • Little Artists, ages 4 to 5 (20 pages): a note from Jamie, a lesson on mixing autumn colors, a color wheel, a step-by-step Teddy drawing, coloring and tracing pages, a leaf-print craft, a Teddy paper puppet and a Thankful leaf garland.
  • Young Artists, ages 6 to 8 (20 pages): a real lesson on warm and cool colors and shading, a 12-step Teddy drawing, a watercolor leaf project, detailed coloring, a sketchbook page, a leaf-print craft and a Thankful leaf garland.

The Gallery Finish. Every kit now ends the way a real exhibition does: a personal note from Jamie written just for your child, a cream gallery mat to frame their favorite piece, artist wall labels to fill in, and a My Gallery Wall page to record everything they made. Then sign the "I made this!" certificate, signed by Jamie, and hang the show at home.
